As most of us do not like and find the white residue left by many sunscreens unacceptable, I tested this to determine the threshold for a white cast on the skin. While one generous application is all that is needed to achieve approx. 15 spf coverage, in testing, it actually took 4 very generous applications one right after the other to begin to see a slight white residue.
