Transforms skin damaging free radical activity into productive regenerative activity by trapping and detoxifying free radicals. Spin trapping is when the free radicals attach themselves to Vitamins C and E instead of attaching to your skin (causing cell damage).
Key Ingredients
- 15% C and 1% Vitamin E is a unique blend of water soluble vitamin C (protects the cytoplasm) and oil soluble vitamin E (protects the cell membranes).
- Ferulic Acid - a powerful plant-derived antioxidant that has been shown to increase UV protection in skin and stabilize Vitamin C.
- Niacinamide - improves skin barrier functions, improves skin tone (reduces the appearance of hyperpigment spots and red blotchiness)
- Lactic Acid - provides hydration to the skin
- Sodium PCA - a humectant that is naturally occurring in the skin
Directions
Using fingertips, apply over desired area 1 or 2 times daily. This product will feel a bit tacky (not oily) initially so let it absorb before applying other products (usually absorbs with 10 minutes)
- Keep refrigerated when not in use.
- If using copper peptides, apply at different times of the day. Recommend C & E during the AM, and copper peptides in the PM
Some studies suggest that spin trapping can reduce your sunburn risk by stopping the free radicals from spinning during ultraviolet light exposure. The free radicals attach themselves to Vitamins C and E instead of attaching to your skin (causing cell damage). DO NOT use as a replacement for your sunscreen when outdoors. ALWAYS wear sun protection and/or a hat.
