Mandelic Acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that dissolves the intercellular “glue” that binds dead skin cells to the surface, strips off dead skin cells and lifts off brown discolorations. This causes minor peeling that leaves behind soft smooth skin. In addition its antibacterial value will unclog pores while at the same time stimulate the production of collagen and elastin to revel a smooth, clear even-toned complexion.
