Functions of the Ezzi-Peel Scrubber
- The Ezzi-Peel comes with three unique functions: Exfoliation (Peel); Product Permeation (Massage); and Anaphoresis / Cataphoresis (Ion +/-)
Exfoliation (Peel)
Exfoliation using ultrasound waves provide a deep cleansing of the face or body. Ultrasound waves help "push" dead skin cells, oil, and other skin impurities out of pores in a pain-free and safe way. Exfoliation requires just water or a tonic solution or cleansing solution of your preference.
Product Penetration (Massage)
This function uses ultrasound waves as a method of penetrating topical nutrients deeper into the skin than an ordinary massage can achieve. This allows for the serum, lotion, or cream to permeate into the skin to where it will be more effective and beneficial.
Ion (+) Mode & Ion (-) Mode
In many spas of Europe, the current system of ions are used to better penetrate topical nutrients that are ionized. The metal contacts on the main body of the Ezzi-Peel are the contact points. Ion (+) Mode can be selected when penetrating products such as Retinol (Vitamin A) or Tocopherol (Vitamin E). Ion (-) Mode is beneficial with Ionized Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) products.
* It is important to note that as a cordless skin scrubber, the Ezzi-Peel will not have as strong of a power intensity output level as our plug in UltraSound Skin Spatula. This difference in power intensity levels is due to the fact that the Ezzi-Peel is running on a battery while the Skin Spatula runs on electricity from a power source. This difference can be made up by elongating treatment time with the Ezzi-Peel and gliding the device a little bit slower and with more passes across treatment areas.

NOTE: I personally use the Ezzi Peel at home for product penetration and love it. Many fellow estheticians use it in their practice. While the equipment I use in the clinic works faster, it is also much more expensive. With devices such as this, I would advise to stay away from devices made in China. These tend to be unreliable and often not properly calibrated. This is an important point as any device delivering too much heat to the tissue could be destructive rather than stimulating.
